Who Cares
As soon as I stepped my foot into the Who Cares Sabbath School Class, I knew I had come to the right place. I immediately felt surrounded by love and warmth, which was exactly what I needed. At the time, I was experiencing intense emotional pain and came to church every week with a very heavy heart. As I sat in the Who Cares class every Sabbath, I felt surrounded by intense love that brought me to tears. Little-by-little, the warmth and love began to heal my wounded heart.
Who Cares cares about the things that matter, and Who Cares doesn’t care about the things that don’t. For example,
Who Cares doesn’t care if you are overweight or underweight, tall or short, wearing a formal dress or wearing jeans. We’re just so glad that you joined us.
Who Cares doesn’t care if you are divorced or happily married, are on top-of-the-world or down-in-the-dumps, are chipper and outgoing or quiet and reserved. We love you just the way you are.
Who Cares studies the Sabbath School quarterly during the week, and then we discuss it and apply it to our personal lives during our discussion on Sabbath morning. Our class is facilitated by Denny Carter, with other class members leading the discussion periodically.
Who Cares likes to have fun and to laugh, and we enjoy getting together outside of the Sabbath School class once a month for dinner and fellowship. Yet, in addition to laughing together, we are seriously concerned about one another. We share our lives with one another, and are there to cheer one another on and to offer encouragement and support when needed.
Who Care is not a closed group, and is always open to new members. So, no matter what time your arrive at church, we would love to have you join us for our study on Sabbath morning. And if you’re wondering Who Cares anyway, just know that Who Cares cares!
Our meeting room is just past the church office and library…..come experience Who Cares.
