Sharing a Closer Walk

Come join us in “Sharing a Closer Walk”! Our class is based on the premise that we grow spiritually as we study and share God’s grace together. Our goal is to do an in-depth Bible study each week based on the themes and lessons in our quarterly. Open circle discussions are guided by a facilitator, with emphasis on participation by class members sharing their insights and ways to apply lessons learned to our everyday life. We schedule a get-together each month to strengthen friendship bonds in the more informal setting of fellowship dinners, group hikes or picnics and occasional evening socials. We also sponsor school or community outreach activities through a class fund to help worthy students or assist in other member-suggested projects.
To give you a flavor of how members perceive the class, here are some one-line thoughts of what several offered as reasons they attend:
“Open discussion with friendly atmosphere.”
“I feel free to express my opinion, and ask any question, without judgment or condemnation.”
“High percentage of participation. Differences of opinion openly and lovingly examined to obtain truth.”
“We are enriched by the insights and perspections of many who share each Sabbath.”
“Facilitators go out of their way to make new and old members feel welcome.”
“Class is based on learning and growing to know Jesus and the Bible better.”
These are just a sampling of the comments received. We particularly reach out to those who have not regularly attended Sabbath School. If you feel the Lord’s call to join in a closer walk with Him and His Word, please come, study and share with us.
